HOPE welcomes Dr. Bill Thomas to Speak at Raise the Roof Breakfast

Dr. Bill Thomas sparked the interest of HOPE when we heard of his innovative partnership with USI changing aging and housing in the community. This pilot project, MAGIC, creates a Multi-Ability, Multi-Generational, Inclusive Community(MAGIC) housing model for both students and older adults. Dr. Bill Thomas understands the importance of blended communities which HOPE tries to deliver on a daily basis through its affordable housing development program.

HOPE of Evansville is thrilled to announce Dr. Bill Thomas will be speaking at our 3rd Annual Raise the Roof Breakfast on Thursday, November 15. The breakfast will begin at 7:30am and will end at 8:45 am. Tickets can be purchased below or here.

Dr. Thomas has been named as one of the nation’s “top 10 innovators” by the Wall Street Journal for his imagination in changing the future of retirement in America. US News and World Report named him as one of “America’s best leaders.” The magazine stated that this “creative and wildly exuberant country doctor has become something of a culture changer…”

Dr. Thomas is an author, entrepreneur, musician, teacher, farmer and physician whose wide-ranging work explores human aging. He is best known for his innovations in the health care system and is the founder of the non-profit The Eden Alternative.
