Free Financial Education Classes Available to Learn How to Build Credit, Save Money, and Buy a House
Thanks in part to funding provided by Fifth Third Bank, a collaboration of HOPE of Evansville, Evansville Promise Zone, Junior Achievement, Old National Bank, and Fifth Third Bank is providing free financial education for the community. Classes will cover how to repair credit, begin saving money, and the steps to purchasing and successfully owning a home. Each round of classes includes two 45-minute sessions held on a Tuesday and a Thursday. The classes will be held each month between March and December 2019.
Thanks to our partners Junior Achievement of Southwest Indiana, there will be separate youth classes offered alongside the regular adult classes. These classes are for children aged 8 to 12, and teach the basics of saving and budgeting.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive coupons good for one free Littile Zip (8") pizza and one free fountain drink from any Azzip Pizza location. Children who successfully complete the youth course will also receive Azzip Pizza coupons.
Participants must attend both a Tuesday and a Thursday class to complete the course. To select a different date after registering for your first class, return to the event page and choose "select a different date" under the "register" button.
